happy easter!

so for easter in germany we have this traditional eggs hunting: the eggs are actually made of papier mache, and they are filled with sweets, little presents and fake grass. i just prepared them while our kid is napping. but it is far too cold and too snowy outside, so i guess the hunt will take place inside this year!

cute and blue findings

some cute findings i made recently: 2 little children figures made in Japan, an elefant, a sad hippo, and lots of blue things: 2 polka dots goblets, gingham plates from John Tams, a big beer tankard, a fish cake mold and a sugar bowl with flowers.

the appeal of the past

i love internet, and i love my computer, but i will never give up writing and typing. look at this awesome typewriter i found, wouldn't a diary or an essay look more awesome with it as with a computer?

this work is the work of Simone Pheulpin, a french woman, a textile sculptor. i find her art splendid and timeless. the video is in french but you still can see how she does it, and it it amazing.

timeless treats

i love to go to this backer. it was founded in 1906 and they make excellent German bread and pastries. everything is made and backed there. i love also the shelves and the vitrine, all looking so antique.

test phase

this is my favorite part in this job: testing the items we sell. so here is our test phase with this awesome antique coffee grinder. that is so funny to grind your own coffee! just so you know, it turns out a lot rougher than the powder you usually buy.
oh and by the way snow is back...

Pistillo

here is our Pistillo lamp. this lamp was designed in 1969 by Studio Tetrarch for Valenti Italy. it is a very impressive and unique lamp with a nature inspired shape. it can be either hung on a wall or put on a table.

hair bands, hair clips, brooches, armband, necklaces for my kid.
fury brooch, ring, necklace, earings and wind up watch for me.
i love these, they make me feel special when i wear them, and i like to keep them in these lovely antique jewelry boxes the rest of the time.
