bohemian hütte

today we had our first dinner of spring outside. we went to the "Hütte" (the cabin) where you can have nice pizzas in a very bohemian and vintage atmosphere: look at these amazing lighting. there is also a grill, a veranda, a playground for kids and an art gallery.

bookshop

a few days ago in our street opened a new bookshop named "neues kapitel" (meaning new chapter). wood covers floor and walls, and vintage chairs and display stand furnish the place, making it really cosy. outside a strong wind blows the cherry trees so it is raining white petals.

umbrellas

i love the lighting made of vintage looking umbrellas of this lovely Paraplü shop, a shop dedicated to kids (shoes, clothes and gifts). an idea to steal! today was a great day strolling around and having a snack at Sigismondo yum!

vintage bar Kohlen Quelle

this is one of the first place where we went when we arrived in Berlin and we are still going there regularly, because we love the place, the people and the food. it is named the Kohlen Quelle. it is furnished with sofas, chairs, lighting and tables of the former GDR. i especially love the yellow and purple square mural lamps!

vintage family restaurant

 

we have been spending a whole family vacation week. we spent lots of time enjoying Niesen, a lovely family restaurant, all vintage furnished, and also parks and ice creams. we will be back to work on monday.

con calma

finally. here is a sunday like i like them! with coffee, blue sky, sun and con calma.

con calma is a lovely coffee, italian pastries and frozen yoghurt place at arnimplatz in prenzlauer berg. not only they serve [real] coffee with a warm italian accent, but the decor is all vintage with Berlin typical kidney bean tables, chairs and lighting.
