By the way did you notice the little fake moss covered stones I found? I love them, I think they add a very Miyazaki charm to the pictures. Hayao Miyazaki is one of my favorite film makers.

Week End Findings

Here are the findings i made last week end. The whole collection looks really wintry.

Two wonderfull vases (one from VEB Töpferhof Römhild and one from Piesche and Reif), salad servers and bottle openers, a candle holder and 2 cups made in GDR, wooden and wicker dishes and a salt shaker.

All very soon in the shop!

Halloween giveaway!

We just launched our very first give away. It’s a totally new but exciting experience for us. We chose this vintage pillow case as a test round, for our first try at give aways. It was in our shop for a while and has been very popular. Ok it’s kind of a happy Halloween object, but it does have a lot of orange!

Week End Findings!

 

I was quite brave yesterday to go to the fleemarket, considering how it was pouring :P

Here are the treasures i found: a KPM white vase, a Winterling coffee jug, a Brigitte water jug, a Bay flowered vase, hollandish metal coffee tins, a vase with roses, a porcelain shoe planter/ashtray, Pla candle holders from Denmark, a Japanese flowered vase, a little porcelain owl, a Rosenthal Studio Linie porcelain box. And some other stuff that couldn't fit in the picture... stay tuned!

I'm bad this week i didn't do the weekly picture of the findings i made..
But here are some individual pics of the items that i found last week end and that will be soon online (some of them are):

The cherry trees in our street have bloomed

And we created a new category in the shop named 'Collectibles', that gather all sorts of really original items. You should definitely take a look!

This long week end was great, spent with friends, making barbecues, splendid weather,...

and some nice catches: an Inka Scheurich vase, a wooden filing box, a fantastic Haldensleben white and black vase, a hanger covered in knitting, a  leather cigar etui, an advertising tin for 'Tip Top' brand, a wooden box, 3 ancient metal boxes from a bank, 3 cups with plates from the GDR, a green metal box and a ceramic hedgehog.

So here are the things i found this WE: a faux-leather white vintage purse from the 1960's, a white and green arrow sign, a Jasba West German Pottery, 2 leather Lens Etui/Purses, an enamel black and blue little pot and 2 framed Edelweiss bouquets. No need to say i can't wait putting them in the Etsy shop (although i would love to keep the cpottery, the white bag and a lens etui for myself, but Olivier would rather not!)
