from today

we ate japanese at one of the greatest restaurant of our area (sasaya, lychenerstrasse prenzlauer berg). the food was amazing and watch what they did so our kid can eat with the chopsticks! and on the way to the restaurant, i saw a pot of edelweiss.. thought that they were an endengered species of flowers in the alps..

we went to a place called 'elf' for coffee. i love the vintage lighting and furniture, the flowers and the white and green checkered floor there!

so long berliner bear

berlin is in constant evolution. sometimes for the best, more beautifull, and sometimes not. here is a wall in eberswalderstrasse where is painted a berliner bear playing soccer. for us it has always been here (at least since we moved here!). it is even in our child's book! but it will soon disappear because they are building.
also an abandoned mattress taped to a street light, and sleeping beauty statue at the fountain of fary tales (Märchenbrunnen) in Volkspark Friedrichshain.

trouts

it has been a while since i wanted to go on a friday to arkonaplatz to eat a grilled trout, and we did it today! it was delicious served with a dill sauce, horseradish, seagrass and lemon.

there are a lot of lakes around berlin. we had a wonderfull time there today!
