awesome vintage inventions

here are some vintage inventions i saw watching the excellent program named "tracks" on Arte.
the stationery storage tie, the glasses to read when lying down, the heating jacket, the umbrella shoes, the mopping todler pyjamas.. some great items with uneven usefulness, but i love them all!

i love the idea of giving vintage toys to my kid. i think it is an excellent way to learn some important things, like ecology, sharing, caring.. what a wonderful thing also to pass on a toy that brought so much fun to other kids!

week end findings

some plastic toy cowboys & indians figurines, a plants stand for inside gardening, a mid century wooden bowler hat mold, a genuine Laurids Lonborg kinetic ball sculpture, some leatherette hangers so typical from Berlin, a ceramic wall clock from Kienzle: all vintage and all in the shop!

to have dinner at omoni is such a treat! the decor, the food the books are so awesome there!

brementown musicians

the brementown musiciens is a fairy tale from the grimm brothers. do you know it? it is very popular here in germany. here are 2 lovely vintage items representing them: a plate and a brooch of my personal collection.

furoshiki

i got this wonderful furoshiki in the mail today! i love it already as it is so light and soft and as it matches so well with marine blue! i have another furoshiki from the same shop, that i'm never tired to wear, and i'm already planning my next one :)

week end findings

a mid century ceramic wall clock from Europa, a wooden desk pen holder with a basset dog, modern cups made of glass and plastic, a mid century glass and wooden tray, a fantastic mid century sunburst brass clock, a brass sailor dreaming, a washroom metal sign. all available in the shop! stay tuned :)
