today was the perfect berliner sunday: beautiful weather and lots of cool finds at the fleemarket in Mauerpark :)

prinzessinnengarten

we spent a lovely afternoon in the prinzessinnengarten in kreuzberg :) such a wonder to see this oasis in the middle of the city!

dr kneipp

we went walking in a kneipp water source has many benefits like against headache, for blood flow and better sleep :)

big sale on german fat lava vases

we're having a big sale on german fat lava vases! we have some nice lot of matching colors vase check them out!

heatwave

we're experiencing a heatwave in berlin. we stayed cool at home and only went out for breakfast and ice cream in the afternoon :) the cherry trees in our street are getting ready and the chestnuts trees are only preparing for autumn.

rugs and beaters

some nice decor for the bedroom: beautiful and heavy quilts to cover a bed or to use as a baby floor mat and some rug beaters to hang on a wall.

home again

this is a picture sent by C from Canada who adopted these two cute candle holders from our shop. they look so happy and fun together!

latest furniture finds

i'm so proud of these finds! and i had a lot of fun taking the pictures :)

we bought a house!

look what i found today!! it needs a lot of cleaning and renovation : an activity i will enjoy to make with my kid :) and we already have some furniture to play with!!

repurposing

today we were asked if this large bathroom / vanity mirror of our shop would fit in a living room. personally i love the idea! 

easter hunt

the easter bunny brought lots of chocolate :) it's a lot of fun for the kids but it is even more fun for the parents! we like to add some little wrapped presents to the chocolate, like hair clips or toy cars, so that there is more to find! the vintage basket to collect everything is a must have :)

week end findings

the week is beginning nicely: collared doves are nesting in our yard :) and here are the items i found last week end: a mid-century german plant stand, a brass keyhole cover, a teak and golden metal rack, a fantastic brass and ceramic Junghans wall clock, a mid-century plants stand, a pottery vase.

baguette

i'm perfecting my technique to make french baguette bread :)
we have a cold and sunny weather today and on this building, the windows seem to have bright blue blinds but it is actually the sky reflecting in them.. houses do not have blinds here in berlin.
